Julie Musilek

Hi, I’m Julie. I’m the founder of Digital Magic Factory, a boutique marketing and strategy firm that helps people find their magic and build the messaging, brand, and business strategy that lets it shine.

I spent 25 years working in the big leagues across consulting, tech, and the nonprofit world before staring my business. My well-rounded background includes:

10 years in the New York City consulting world, working with C-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies.
10 years inside San Francisco SaaS tech, leading product marketing, content, customer education, and lifecycle strategy at a startup that scaled and exited.
And along the way, another 7 years supporting cultural nonprofits, from change management at the Asian Art Museum to leading digital transformation projects and serving on boards at several performing arts organizations.

Along the way, I’ve led global marketing campaigns, launched messaging that drove millions in revenue, served as editor-in-chief of a corporate blog with millions of annual readers, and built content strategies that supported customer acquisition and long-term brand visibility.

I’ve worked across nearly every part of marketing: product, content, customer, lifecycle, brand, messaging, and operations. I know how to uncover the message that connects and how to turn it into action.

Now, I use that experience to support smart, purpose-driven entrepreneurs and organizations who are great at what they do but need help turning their ideas into something clear, credible, and ready to grow.

My work is part strategy, part creative, part therapy, and part pep talk and a whole lot of fun.
